Skeetervac
Blue Rhino Skeetervac mosquito killing machine is EPA safe. Early
spring mosquitoes awaken from winter hibernation or hatched from
surviving eggs. Female mosquitoes and other biting insects require
blood to nourish their eggs. Chilly and rainy conditions in the early
spring keep most people indoors so we don’t realize that the
mosquitoes have awakened. Early spring they feed on animals and
birds, once we venture outdoors especially in the evening hours is
when we notice them.

Early spring is the time to start up your SkeeterVac and let it run
24/7. The SkeeterVac uses propane to expel CO2 and to generate
electricity needed to run the vacuum and LED lights to attract the
mosquitoes. Octenol 1-octen-3-ol is also used as a bait to attract a
variety of mosquitoes, black flies and other biting insects. 1-octen-
3-ol is EPA safe for humans and the environment, 1-octen-3-ol is
also currently being tested as a food preservative because of its
antifungal activity.

Place your Skeetervac between the source, (wetlands, wooded
areas or low lying areas), and your home. Every mosquito you
catch now drastically reduces the population. A female mosquito
can lay up to 20,000 eggs in her short life span.

Check around your property and dispose of any water-holding
containers, drain planters of excess water. Drill holes in the bottom
of any trash cans; recycle bins or any containers that must be left
outside. Drain the water off your swimming pool cover once a
week to prevent stagnant water.
